Recommended games for your internet cafe

MMORPGs stand for massive multiplayer online role playing games. The definition pretty much speaks for itself, but for those who still don’t get it, they’re simply just like your typical RPGs except that there’s no single player play or LAN (Local Area Network) play. The most recommended MMORPGs for internet cafes as of date are RF online, Tantra, Flyff, RAN online, and many more.

RF online stands for Rising Forces, and is about various robot races struggling for dominance over resources. Characters are classified into warriors (melee fighters), rangers (ranged fighters), specialists (fighters with special abilities), and spiritualists (fighters with different kinds of energy weapons).

Tantra is one of the more popular of these online RPGs. The story is based on the definition of Tantra itself, as a body of practices and beliefs based on the principle that everything in the universe is controlled by the energy of an all-powerful God. This RPG features three different schools of Tantra, each having its own views and specialties. Each of these schools focus on the use of a certain form of chakra and uses varying methods to make use of it. The first school is the Samaja Tantra. This school specializes on the right hand path and specializes with the use of the Sahasrara chakra. The second school is the Mishra Tantra, which specializes on Anahata chakra. The 3rd school is the Kaula Tantra, which is considered to go on the left path. This school specializes in Muladhara chakra and uses external methods to bring forth its power.

Flyff stands for Fly for Fun. This game as its name suggests allows players to fly around the world. They gain experience points by defeating monsters. Higher levels means better playing and fighting power. Characters fly around on brooms and boards.

RAN online is a campus-based game. The plot focuses on three schools named Sacred Peak, Phoenix, and Mystic Peak. As the story goes, a fourth school fails to protect its students from becoming mutants. The objective of the game is to find out what happened to the fourth school and save the students. A player can start with two players, but can add up more later in the game. There are four character modes in the game: brawler and swordsman for male players, and archer and shaman for female players.
